The Ascension

What is the Ascension?

 

The Ascension is part one of a two part mystery which culminates in the outpouring at Pentecost but we shall not dwell on this.

 

The problem with our world right now is not that you can't ascend so easily but that not enough people are awake enough to enter the path towards ascension. Too many still sleep.  Too many are living nothing but mechanical lives.  Too many are on false paths that lead to dead ends - some which even claim to be paths leading to ascension - like transhumanism: merging with information technology: a false path if ever there was one.

 

Jesus knows very well that we are meant to be one with the Father, just like him.  But we are not.  How can we come to the Father?  To begin with, we must become real human beings rather than mere machines: we must awaken from the slumber of automatic functioning.  And we must develop the energy required to function as truly conscious beings capable of telling the truth about ourselves now and ourselves in the future: in other words, being true to ourselves and being capable of making and keeping our promises.

 

Then we may garner the energy to be able to love the One and each other consistently, in spite of the obstacles.
