Fifth Sunday After Easter

Today it's all about belief and the Magdalene.

Call it a result of being ill, watching a disappointing election for freedom-loving Australians or just me being like a dog with a bone but I felt I had to clarify some words I keep seeing being used badly.  Badly used words isn't so strange since words change over time, but if we want to understand what people wrote hundreds or thousands of years ago we need to keep the meanings consistent if we can.  So this talk got a bit longer than I originally hoped.  Quite a bit longer.  I was going to split it in two, and I may still but right now I am just too tired and too sick to do it.
