Baptism in Water. Baptism in Fire.

In this conversation, Michael Mac, Alexander and I explore the meaning of Baptism - its history, functions and purposes.  What was it originally in Edessa and Antioch? What about the differences between modern "High" and "Low" Church approaches to Baptism - what do they each offer? In what ways is Baptism similar to initiatory rites in other (eastern) traditions? How does this relate to the Holy Spirit, being struck by lightning, money, the Christ Child, healing, Holy Orders, feelings, relationships, Nirvana and - Eternal Life?
